A CONCISE LESSONS ON FAITH

WHAT IS FAITH?


   INTRO: Before I proceed, let me open this with some inspiration of Faith for the proper edification of the word. And some useful stories will be introduced to add ingredients to it. I bet you, after digestion of this piece of writing, your life will never be the same. You will move from grace to Grace, life to Life, and from originality to Originality. I hope I am speaking to the learned like you.
Faith is risk, and one must take it in order to survive; You risked your life the more when you avoid to take risk. Even Life itself is a risk.
What does this mean?

Meaning of Faith.

According to the Holy Bible; Faith is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.(Heb. 11:1 NLT)

Faith is all one needed to make a worthy living.
Know that, we can only have victory through our faith because “Faith is the Power that overcomes the world”, 1 JOHN 5:4.


RECHARGE YOUR LIFE WITH THIS STORIES

 STORY ONE:  

 Two people, A and B attended the same Church. They have similar challenges in life ‘unknown to them’, and needed the divine solution to their challenges.
As it pleases the LORD, He gave the word of knowledge to his Servant, revealing the problem of A, and provided solution. They both claimed it with faith.
A went home, relaxed and said “God has answered my prayer”. B was so serious about the prophecy, went home and started praying ernestly and fervently to actualize it. Believing whole heartedly to give testimony in the next meeting. The God of seriousness, seeing the beleive and action of B, cause it to happen.
In the day of the meeting at the service; B stood up, walked to the Altar and gave the testimony of that prophecy. Everyone shouted and praised God. B was so exited by giving the testimony, while A went home looking frustrated.
STORY TWO                                                                                                 
 It is also likened to two farmers;(A & B), believing in God and having faith to have enough harvest in following season.
They both went out, cultivating their crops and plants.
Farmer A put more effort by visiting the farm, weeding and stacking the crops time to time to enhance the proper growth of crops and the plants, while B, after weeding and stacking the crops and plants once, relaxed, and wait for the harvest.
On the day of harvest, farmer A, who visited the farm frequently, had a bountiful harvest, while farmer B was frustrated by the outcome of the harvest had.
Therefore, I say to you, “knowing how to make your faith works for you makes you a Faithful person.
God’s blessing is not only in material wealth, but in character, manner, etiquette, wisdom and mostly, how to apply them in life.
