Covid-19 is a newly discovered coronavirus sickness that has terrorising the world in a horrible manner. Begin in China, and spread round, ravaging the entire world.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.  Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease, it causes and how it spreads. 

The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, it is carried and transported by air from an infected person, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette.


Common prevention tips

1- Protect yourself and others: 
This is where brotherly and sisterly love come to play. Here, you report yourself and someone who exhibit symptoms of the disease to the appropriate body set aside by the government of your locality. Do not be afraid, for fear kills and not the sickness. By doing this, you will help to stop the spread of the disease in the society. Early notice of unusual feelings can help in management of a condition, and may bring about cure.

2- Listen to instructions from your local government about staying at home:
 Here, you can turn to the Holy Bible and read the book of prophet Isaiah, chapter 26 verse 20, to hear what God says in a time like this. So, every good government is established and approved by God.

3- Social distances
If you must gather with other people, meet outdoors or choose open spaces with good air flow, and remember always to keep a safe distance of about 2 meters away from others. Also, wear face mask and communicate with your partners standing adjacently. 

4- Clean hands often and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, using the recommended hand sanitizer. 
5- Visiting situation
Place tap water and soap in front of your premises and  a sanitizer for anyone visiting you for safety purposes.

6- Don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth with your bare hands. always use a clean tissue or clothe.

7- Cover coughs and sneezes in your elbow or tissue.

8- Adhere to instructions given by World Health Organization.


WAYS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMOTIONAL HABITS

Set goals and plan a daily routine. Here, you program your day to day activities - what you want to do and in a well organized manner. 


The following may help you:

 1 - Plan when to wake up, what to eat and when to sleep.

2 - Find ways to relax and do healthy activities that you enjoy. Know that anyone can feel stress and anxiety.

3 - Exercise, eat healthily and get 6 to 8 hours of sleep when possible.

4 - Call friends and family to hear a familiar voice. 

5 - Make a video call to feel close when you're not together.

6 - Take breaks from checking the latest news on coronavirus (COVID-19).

7 - Pray always to God to attract His love and Divine protection. For He must not be neglected in your life.
